About Us
Full Circle Projects are multi-stage initiatives that start in, leave, and return to, the same space.

Full Circle Projects highlight the creative spirit of people from marginalised and forgotten communities, and provide them with a dynamic space in which their voices can be heard.

My Search for Meaning
My Search for Meaning is a three-stage creative writing project that launched in December 2015 and finished in February 2016.

Stage one: Participants from five UK prisons wrote poems, stories, and autobiographical essays around the theme of finding meaning in their lives, inspired by Viktor E. Frankl's book, Man's Search for Meaning.

Stage two: Selected work from the prison workshops was performed by stars of the London poetry and spoken word scene at a live event, in partnership with English PEN, at Goldsmiths University on 21st January 2016.

Stage three: Screenings of the live event took place at each of the five prisons in February 2016 so that participants could see first-hand the impact their creative writing had on the general public. A programme about the My Search for Meaning project aired on National Prison Radio on Feb 18th 2016.

The My Search for Meaning project was run in partnership with the Prison Radio Association and English PEN.

Femi Martin hopes to run another Full Circle Projects initiative in late 2016.
